FEATURED SPEAKER
Eric Heberlig is Professor of Political Science and Public Administration at the University of North Carolina Charlotte, where he has taught since 2000. He received a bachelor’s degree from Franklin & Marshall College, and Ph.D. from The Ohio State University. He teaches and publishes on the U.S. Congress, congressional elections, lobbying, and campaign finance. He has served as a congressional fellow of the American Political Science Association where he served as a Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House for a member of Congress from Akron, Ohio. He has served as co-chair of the university’s academic planning for Charlotte’s hosting of the 2012 Democratic National Convention and the 2020 Republican National Convention.
