Join YWCA this summer for their Media Matters Pop Up series on “The 1619 Project,” based on the book by Nikole Hannah-Jones. From June-September, YWCA will host monthly viewings and candid discussions focused on the following episodes: Music, Democracy, Race and Fear. They will also invite community advocates, educators, and creators to each discussion to dive further into each episode’s purpose. Register HERE for the June session on June 15 at 5:30pm at the West Blvd Library.
