CMPD/FBI Women’s Recruitment Event

To increase the number of women working in law enforcement, organizations from all over the country have teamed up. A recruitment event for women in law enforcement will be held by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) and the FBI Charlotte Field Office on Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police and Fire Training Academy, located at 1770 Shopton Road in Charlotte, North Carolina. The drop-in event, which lasts four hours, is intended to be quite engaging. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from women officers as they share firsthand experiences, from working in a male dominated field, to balancing work and family life.
