North Carolina is one of several states where diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives have come under legal attack.
Additionally, Florida, Texas, North Dakota, and Tennessee, have signed legislation banning DEI initiatives. These actions reflect a broader trend of challenges to DEI efforts in various states across the United States.
Participants will have an opportunity to engage in conversation that explores diverse perspectives regarding the legislation as well as examine whether the legislation serves as a benefit and/or a burden to all citizens in the community.
An alternative session is being held on March 26th from 12:30-1:45pm
