Black Economic and Educational Empowerment Summit

Johnson C. Smith University invites you to the Black Economic and Educational Empowerment Summit on Friday, April 4, 2025, featuring a keynote panel moderated by Stedman Graham and a lineup of distinguished leaders and experts discussing the future of Black education and economic development.

This summit will explore critical issues shaping the future of Black economic and educational advancement. Discussions will address the evolving landscape of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), the essential resources needed for economic development, and strategies for strengthening workforce development and education through career readiness, mentorship, and internships. Additionally, participants will delve into the significance of preserving and revitalizing the Historic West End, examining its cultural, educational, and economic impact on the surrounding community.
