“Beyond the Beat” Film Premiere and Art Party

Beyond the Beat is an uplifting documentary about the power of creativity to inspire hope and healing. Be the first to see the film and stick around for an arts-infused after-party!

The film will begin at 7 pm and lasts about an hour. Get to the Independent Picture House at 6:30pm for photo opportunities and to hang with the filmmakers. Following the film, take part in a Q&A with the directors and learn about the improbable journey to finish this project.

After the film, enjoy an arts party that reflects the uplifting, creative energy of Beyond the Beat. This portion of the event is hosted at The Charlotte Art League (attached to the theatre). Your ticket includes both the screening and the art party (drinks and small bites provided). After party runs from 8:30-10:30 pm.
