LDI Program Closes Out After LDI21 in August

Octavia Seawell, who created and led CBI’s Leadership Development Initiative (LDI), has announced her intention to step down from that role following LDI 21 in August of this year.

“As CBI and I bring nearly 23 years of LDI to a close, the resounding word I have is gratitude,” says Seawell.   “I’ve been fortunate indeed to have had CBI as my partner in this amazing LDI journey, and to have had the special opportunity and gift to engage with all of you remarkable LDI graduates and sponsors.”

With her departure also comes the closeout of CBI’s successful LDI program.  CBI is currently developing new programming to continue its efforts to enlighten and empower Charlotte-Mecklenburg leaders.  Stay tuned for more on that!
