Voices of LDI: The Latin American Coalition

Latin American Coalition Executive Director Jess George talks about their connection with LDI, which they’ve been a part of for ten years:

“The Latin American Coalition sees LDI as two-way street, allowing our staff and board leaders to expand their personal understanding of inclusion and equity, while having a space to share the powerful stories about what it means to be Latina/o, an immigrant or an ally. In LDI we are both the teachers and the students, sharing our voices and our truth and learning a little of what the world might look like from another perspective.

Voices from CBI’S 2013 Stakeholder's Breakfast

Glorious music, connecting with old and new friends, rich conversation, words of inspiration and challenge, a standing room only crowd of 300 and the sun rising over Charlotte on Friday December 6.  CBI’s 2013 Stakeholder Breakfast truly had something for everyone!

CBI was also delighted to bring a pair of significant voices into the standing room only crowd of over 300 – two individuals generations apart in age but sharing a commitment to being agents of change and inspiration.
