CBI former Board Chair, Valencia McDowell has been honored by the Mecklenburg County Bar with the Julius L. Chambers Diversity Champion Award. This award celebrates persons in our community who have advanced the cause of diversity and equal opportunity.

Alum Receives Global Leader Award

LDI Class 15 member, Wendy Mateo-Pascual is being honored with the Charlotte International Cabinet's 2017 Global Leader Award for her "strong leadership in Charlotte’s international community and cultivating awareness of the growing diversity of Charlotte." The award citation continues, "Furthermore, award recipients have evolved from being leaders in their respective cultural communities to become leaders of the Charlotte community at large.”
